The GSS Apprenticeship PEAK (Perform to Enhance and Accelerate your Knowledge) Programme is funded through the Competitive Fund and allows firms to upskill their employees into new areas of management. As a GSS employee, the aim of this 12-month programme is to provide you with the necessary skills to fill mid-management and leadership roles.
As part of the industry’s human capital development strategy, firms can agree on these areas of needs and embark on a coordinated approach to filling these areas. The programme is industry-led, which means it is demand-driven and firms can be confident you are being trained to meet the specific needs of the industry.
The Apprenticeship Programme was successfully launched with a pilot programme in 2020 and enrolment has grown from 143 to 1800 to date. The programme features a rigorous curriculum to upskill apprentices to Supervisory Management and Leadership & Management levels.
